/ SEMOLINA UPPUMA
ingredients
fried semolina -1 cup
onion- 1/4 cup; finely sliced
green
chillies- 3 ; chopped
ginger-
- 2 inch piece chopped
carrot-
1/4 cup; chopped
curry
leaves-6
raisins- 1 tablespoon(optional)
mustard seeds-1 tablespoon
ghee - 3 tablespoons
salt
water-1
1/2 cup
preparation
pour
ghee into a hot kadai
splutter mustard
fry the onions for 1 minute
add
ginger, green chillies curry leaves and carrot raisins, fry for 1 minute
add water and salt
allow
it to boil well
when water got boiled, add semolina little by little by stirring well.
allow
it to be cooked
serve hot
your upma is ready
if you prefer sugary you can add sugar also
