INGREDIENTS

GRATED COCONUT- 2 CUPS

SHALLOTS-8 CHOPPED
GINGER-3 INCH PIECE- CHOPPED
CURRY LEAVES-5 STALKS
DRY RED CHILLIES- 8
PEPPER - 5

TAMARIND-3 INCH PIECE
SALT

GARLIC - 5 CLOVES


PREPARATION



FRY COCONUT, SHALLOTS, CURRY LEAVES AND GARLIC TILL COCONUT TURNS GOLDEN BROWN

WHEN COCONUT BEGINS TO TURN BROWN ADD GINGER, DRIED RED CHILLIES, PEPPER, AND TAMARIND.
ADD SALT 
ALLOW THE INGREDIENTS TO HEAT UP

REMOVE FROM FLAME WHEN COCONUT BECOMES BROWN AND CRISPY


ALLOW IT TO COOL
WHEN COOL GRIND IT INTO A POWDER

STORE IT IN AN AIR TIGHT CONTAINER
